All URBAN RETREAT products are paraben-free.
We have chosen to use alternative preservative systems based on consumer preference. We simply prefer not to use parabens.
Parabens are still widely used as stabilisers in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and food industries for their preservative properties. Expert panels and global regulatory bodies responsible for ensuring product safety have approved the use of parabens as cosmetic stabilisers.
